Hello to both the new faces and the old ones. I'm Liz, co-founder of Arsheeity: the Second Coming and founder of the original Arsheeity. The lovely Ferris_23 has requested that I take up my pen (or, as it would be, my exceedingly loud, clacky keyboard) and give you all a gist of just what Arsheeity: the Second Coming is all about.
As it is, the real-life Arsheeity has been dead for about two years. It bloomed, flowered, and withered at a drastic pace, like an ephemeral fever dream or a rare amazon bloom. So, in keeping with this, Arsheeity: the Second Coming, is set in an Arsheeity where the colorful, dream-like landscape has shifted and changed. No longer is it a bright and peaceful place where only it's dark corners offer danger- now it is a Feral City, a Ghost Town, where danger lurks around every bend, and only those who search hard and with an earnest heart can find the escape from wickedness and the magical wonder that once ran through every street and cranny.
This dramatic shift was caused by a combination of factors. After a horrific massacre in the hospital, several of Arsheeity's citizens decided the place was just too goddamn dangerous and left. Conflicts between the drifting Damian, an evil being of unspecified origins and murky morals who had taken up residence in Arsheeity, and the Celestial forces of Heaven and Hell caused wild shifts in weather and collateral damage that drove even more people away. The fae who frolicked in the city, hardly bothering to conceal their true nature from the mortal denizens, were driven out by the Iron Wolves, hunters of the supernatural. A devastating fire struck the park and burned up a good bit of the surrounding woodlands and even a few houses. Finally, there was the addition of the industrial park, which bought up the land previously occupied by the Arsheeity hotsprings. At the time, it was lauded as a great way to bring new jobs to the ailing town, but if anything, the smog of industry seemed to sap the remaining life from the land.
Arsheeity is a place of danger and intrigue now, but that's not to say that beauty and kindness can't be found. With all this in mind, go forth to reclaim this city from the iron grasp of death, find your place, and make it your own.
This is Arsheeity.
This is what your dreams have become.
