Name: Aruek Von Balleignis the III Count of Montt.

Age: does not age.. takes the appearance of a man in his 30s
Appearance: Aruek is the embodiment of renaissance sophisticate! Wearing long draping intricate tuxedo of sorts adorned with many trinkets. And a long draping cape flowing down to just the edge of his feet adorned with the colours of the Balleignis family (which is a deep black and gold). He stands about 6 feet, and 3 inches. With sleek silver hair pulled back into a 80s Ducks ass hairdo. (in reference see Hinata Hyuga from Naruto.. it’s the same hairstyle as that). He often wears either a Monocle or full on spectacles, which ever fills his fancy, the spectacles are intricate and the frame is made of pure silver, with the best and most expensive lenses money can buy. His skin is paler than the morning fog. And his eyes are queer. One is bright ripe tomato red, whilst the other is deep ocean blue. His fingernails are long and razor sharp, and his teeth are perfect, white with minimal gaps and all straight. In short Aruek is nothing less than elegant. A man that women would kill for, and many have. Aruek almost always wears nothing less than the most elegant clothes, and seeing him in nothing less would put even a rock in cardiac arrest from the sheer oddity of it. On top of all that Aruek comes equipped with a deep, yet soothing voice. Like the voice of a lover whispering sweet nothings into ones ear. Also, he has long pointed ears, like any other elf does…

Talents, powers, or special skills :besides being the count of a foreign country…Aruek Von Balleignis is considered the most powerful Wizard in his country. And that…that is saying something since Montt itself, is practically nothing more than a festering pit of chaotic magic energy that flows into both the utmost beautiful, as well as the utmost deadly form of energy. Aruek is also quite talented in conversation, chess, economics..well anything and everything expected of a ruler. Besides all that Aruek has a few personal talents of his own, including juggling, painting, and believe it or not, he is quite good at tying knots in cherry stems with his tongue. Its also been heard that he’s quite the romantic. He also has some practical knowledge in carpentry, since he did carve his own staff, and he is also quite good with alchemy. Aruek also can speak in pretty much every language in existence…hes had a looooooooooong time to study. Being 30 forever and all.
Personality: Arrogant, cruel, rude, and more stubborn than an angry Jackass, are only a few of the things used to describe Aruek’s social personality. However in a more personal setting, Aruek is actually quite the opposite, hes kind, respectful, a big tease, and definitely flirtatious. A man in Arueks position is required to have two personalities, one for the world, and one for the private life.
Strengths: Aruek’s strengths lay in his intellect, control of magic, fashion sense, and his conversation skills.
Weaknesses: his personality, his limited physical strength, and his fashion sense.
Likes: Aruek loves beautiful things…wine, a good challenge whether at something simple like chess, or a complex magical duel. Cats, magic, and anything that’s appeasing to the eye.
Dislikes: Hypocrites, the weak, the unintelligent, cowards, and anything obnoxious or overly noisy.
History: Arueks history is a little shakey, he was born Count Aruek Von Balleignis the 3rd, meaning..yeah hes royalty, he is also the head of the magic academy in his home country, wich is an achievement designed to be received by only the best of the best of the best. It normaly takes a Dark elf their entire life to get to a rank that high, but for aruek.. he managed it in about twenty years… mainly because he took his time spent a lot of time studying other students than magic and being overly nonchalant. After his graduation, which took a good 19 years (wich is actually pretty fast in dark elf ages-to-time frame) Aruek spent a year traveling the world, discovering new places and new people..particularly their bedrooms…(if it wasn’t said before then here goes… Aruek is a man of pleasure..we see people, he sees an opportunity to get some…regardless of gender.)…upon returning home Aruek became serious about what he was doing, and pretty much in a flat out open challenge destroyed not only half the academy itself, but almost the entire staff and faculty. Aruek was definitely no pushover when it came to power, in his now 2ooth year as headmaster he has remained unbeaten and the accademy’s students have being doing tenfold times better than any previous headmaster. Aruek believes that Magic isn’t about how you try to control it or how much of it you can do what with, but about the beauty of the magic itself. He teaches that in order to truly become powerful in the ways of magic one must first understand the simple beauty of it, to live it to love it to simply enjoy magic for what magic is not for what it can do. once achieving that relationship with the energy, the outcomes are infinite. Though his personality might seem like it Aruek has never once abused any of the power he has gained, he has never once abused his magic either. To the dark elves, the source of magic energy is itself alive, the two can understand each other and even communicate with each other. This is why Aruek has become so strong, he realized at a young age that the Magic energy itself, as he likes to call it, Balvuure, has its own feeling and life. However after so many years the magic counsel..the only source of power with more say than the king of Montt itself, decreed that Aruek had become not only too powerful but too dangerous and banished him away.
This ended up being fine with Aruek, he had become bored of his life and so dearly wanted to get out and finally try to find not only that special person just for him, but find a life that he knew he would never become bored of regardless of his power, personality and social stature. So with pretty much everything he owned magically compressed into a small pocket sized wallet, his share of the family wealth, wich could last a human at least 200 lifetimes, and his staff, Aruek set out to the world again.
(note) due to his relationship with the magic energy aruek has managed to find a way to stop his aging indefinitely.
Why are you in Arsheeity? Well. Aruek stumbled upon this city during his travels, he became rather interested in the festering magic energy, he could feel the pain, suffering and hatred flowing through it and decided to stop in for a bit of chaos and fun. Besides maybe he will meet that person and life he wants so badly here.
