yeah.. because we all know that The Princess Brides level of epicness can never be measured....
the movie is still definitely in my top 10 favorites ^^ and probably all ways will be =P
so what better way to commemorate such an epic story than by openly discussing it in all its glory eh?

Would you believe me if I told you that I had never seen it until 9th grade and got it confused with Ever After?

^^ to be honest, i actually would...erm well at least the part about not seeing it till 9th grade..mainly because i never saw it til like 8th grade, and also ive kinda gotten used to people either not seeing said movie at all... as for confusing it with Ever After, i think i can see where one would get it confused..
but hey i get confused all the time any ways so its no big deal ^^

Princess Bride is arguably one of the more quotable movies out there, along with Holy Grail.

Guh, I know, his sword is awesome!!!
And yes, that movie is totally quotable. SO NO MORE RHYMES, I MEAN IT!
Has anyone else read the book it's based on? The book is equally good, and I have to say that this movie is hands-down one of the best(if not the best) book-to-movie adaptations ever. The movie only cuts out two scenes from the book and skims over one of Prince Humperdink's character traits from the book (that being that he is an avid hunter, which sets up one of the two skipped scenes.) If you haven't read the book, I highly recommend giving it a read. I read it in about a day while I had a bad case of strep throat, so it's not too long or time-consuming.

It's your family's copy that I borrowed and everything, so it's not like it you'd have to go too far out of your way to get it either, Alex. :3

XD I believe The Princess Bride is in your mom's/the guestroom. On those shelves. The one on the right, if I remember correctly.
And yes, Jamie, there is a sequel. It's called Castle in the Air.
